Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. She moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing her dream of becoming physical therapist on the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando, Florida and was involved in various actor roles. These included independent local film productions as well as international commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After 2001, she relocated to New York where her first character was on All My Kids' daytime soap-opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she played smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable performance was in 2006's Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on an upcoming drama series. Then, a short time later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She was Doctor. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. It was put on hold after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and has a younger brother Cory. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter was with her on an audition for acting. Her audition was part of more than 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen to be one of the four girls. Milano played in television commercials and on off-Broadway plays, among them the first American musical rendition to Jane Eyre.
